Trying for a baby

Trying for a baby

My husband and I decided we wanted to start our family. I started researching in march. What I mean by researching is my birth control. When to take it out? How long before you're regular? Etc.
I never thought Getting pregnant would actually be difficult. I don't understand how many couples accidentally get pregnant. It's now October and I don't want to say I'm infertile.. but I had labs done with my nurse practitioner which showed my progesterone levels at a .2 (they like to see 15) I've also tracked my BBT which has not changed at all.
Sooo this is what is considered infertile. I know couples who have been trying a lot longer than us so it's hard to say I'm infertile so soon. It feels like we have been trying forever now.

My NP has prescribed clomid for us to try this upcoming cycle.
I was using birth control for 11 years with little to no breaks. I'm hoping the clomid helps my body normalize and start doing what it's supposed to do!
Fingers crossed ❤️❤️❤️

Letting Go

In middle school and high school I wanted so badly to be liked that I was never myself. In turn I could hear people call me annoying. I never wanted to be alone, so I had boyfriends. Unsure if I even liked them, even more unsure if they liked me.

As you grow older, you are taught that those those years of your life hardly matter. If only you could understand that then!

Looking back, I wish I had been myself more. Practicing not being yourself for so long you actually suppress who you are and lose your identity. Now you have to learn to let go.

How do you let go ? Good question.

I know I haven't let go because I've carried this weakness with me. Going through different groups of people, dating different men, liking what they like but subconsciously lost.

So, how do you let go? First thing is, finding yourself. Who are you ?

Cancun

A handful of our friends were turning 30 within 2 months of eachother. We all thought it would be a good idea to go on a group vaca to celebrate! The birthdays were from May-June and the best prices were for cancun! Yay!
This was the perfect adventure for Casey and I. He had never been on a plane before, and we both have not traveled out of the country.! I loved that we both got to experience something new together.
We went on an excursion called X-plore the day after we arrived.
Conquering my fear of heights with the zip lines !
We found an off-road course, of course
Some of our friends, we all came and went different days throughout the week. Casey and I arrived last and had a couple days for a honeymoon ❤️
Swimming with dolphins ! Bucket list ✔️
Feeding manatees. They were so cute and funny.
We watched our beach surf board get painted by spray paint. Best souvenir
Monkeys! I wanted to hold one so badly
Getting some much needed relaxation
Our last day, notice the slips 😜
I love him ❤️❤️❤️

Behind the chair

I've been yearning for a new adventure, so I decided to attend hair school.
It all started when my mother in-law asked me to be her model for an ombré class. Listening to the instructor inspired me to be apart of this field. To have cosmetology as my hobby.
Going into the academy i thought it was going to be easy breezy.. Although it is for me with having my pharmacy tech experience a lot of it is, but I was surprised at how much more I've learned in just a few months.
Cosmetology is an art, and it takes brains.
I'll be getting my license in about a year and a half. But you never stop learning new things. I'll keep posting as I get more experienced
The pictures I've used in this post are two of my favorite outcomes so far..

Home improvements

As previously posted, we have been doing minor home improvements that have made all the difference. My latest project was painting the kitchen cabinets
We were able to find our upper cabinets on www.ksl.com classifieds for $50 (wow) then our lowers came from Home Depot at 20% off. Our total was about 350 all together.
Snap chat before, sorry not sorry! The uppers already had a finish to them so I sanded those babies down.
Primer- I used kilz, good foundation.
Sand,2 coats of primer, 2coats of paint and vuala!
Another snap chat photo 😉
